Art and craft play a significant role in education, fostering creativity, self-expression, and cognitive development. In schools, including KVS (Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan), art and craft programs are essential components of the curriculum. Here’s an overview of the importance of art and craft in education and how they are incorporated into school activities
In PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Dewas, students are taught various arts like folk arts, print making, still life, collage, clay modeling, landscape, mask making, portrait, paper craft etc. Apart from this, craft workshop is also available. Events are also organized from time to time in which students are given training in jewelery making, clay modelling, mask making, lip art, paper mache etc.
